KCR skips Telangana Budget Presentation:- K Chandrashekhar Rao, the former chief minister and president of the BRS party, made the choice to not attend the Legislative Assembly where the state's vote-on-account budget was being presented. This decision was made in order to avoid the potential humiliation of receiving an invitation from the government to visit the Medigadda barrage on February 13. The announcement of this visit was made by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy in the Assembly the day before. It should be noted that Chandrashekhar Rao, who was both the chief minister and held the irrigation portfolio from 2019 onwards, was aware of the issues at the Medigadda barrage, which began to surface that year. Engineers at Medigadda and the contractor, L&T, repeatedly brought these problems to the attention of the irrigation department's superiors. As the Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, it was expected that Chandrashekhar Rao would attend Saturday's session, but his plans were changed.

You are cordially invited to join the Chief Minister, along with cabinet members and fellow legislators, on a visit to Medigadda on February 13. Sources from the BRS party have mentioned that Chandrashekhar Rao made the decision to not attend the budget presentation on Saturday in order to prevent any potential issues.
