Further Delay Of Monsoon in Telangana:- The Southwest monsoon will be further delayed. Private weather forecast Skymet predicted that there will be a delay in the monsoon. Telangana is set to experience extremely dry weather in the coming four weeks. North Telangana will have to face severe dry weather, while other parts will be moderate.

The 'Core Monsoon Zone' of the states Maharashtra, Telangana, Chattisgarh, Bihar and east Uttar Pradesh required most of the rains at this time. But due to cyclone Biparjoy, there will be a delay in the monsoon. The extended range prediction system (ERPS) projected that there will be trouble weather between June 9th to July 6th.

GP Sharma of Skymet has said because of the formation of El Nino and Biparjoy there are many various changes in the weather forecast. This led to the delay in the monsoon.

On the flip side, Telangana state development society has predicted rains in the next 72 hours forecast on Monday. Khamma, Bhadradri – Kothagudem, Mulugu, Jayashankar, Mancherial, Asifabad district and Komaram Bheem are likely to see moderate rains. The weather department has also a forecast that from Tuesday there will be rain in the city and which will be continued. The heat wave alert will come to an end on Monday. Officials warned of thunderstorms. For the next three days, Hyderabad to face rainfall.
