BJP MLA Raja Singh Detained Under PD Act:- Controversial legislature Raja Singh who represents the Goshamahal constituency is back in news for his controversial comments. His derogatory comments on Prophet Muhammad and there were protests from all the corners of Old City. Raja Singh was sacked by BJP as this is not the first time the leader made such controversial comments. He was arrested after his comments and he was out on bail. Raja Singh was detained by the Hyderabad cops again last evening under the Prevention Detention (PD) Act and he is sent to Cherlapally jail. There would be no bail from the court if a person is booked under PD Act. Raja Singh was served notice under Section 41 of Cr PC and new cases are registered against him in various police stations.

Raja Singh described the issue as Dharam Yudh and he said that he would never compromise. Raja Singh was detained though his supporters tried hard to resist. He was named as a Rowdy Sheeter in Mangalhat police station and 101 cases are registered and 18 of them are related to communal offenses. There would be no need to present him in court and he can be kept in jail from 3 months to one year. Raja Singh uploaded a video against Prophet Muhammad on Sree Ram Channel on August 23rd. YouTube immediately removed the video but it went viral in no time and the Muslims stepped onto the roads demanding an arrest of Raja Singh.

The cops said that Raja Singh has been spreading widespread fear and panic among the general public through his comments on a community or a religion.
