Protests And Tense Atmosphere In Hyderabad's Old City:- BJP Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh's comments on Prophet Muhammad did not go well and there is a tense atmosphere all over Hyderabad. Huge crowds gathered on the streets protesting for the arrest of Raja Singh. The cops and the Army forces are deployed to bring things to control. All the shops and public places are shut since last evening. Religious slogans are raised and the cops used lathicharge to control the situation. Some of them threw stones and several unexpected incidents have been reported. Raja Singh was arrested and he was released on bail. BJP suspended him from the party and demanded an explanation in ten days. The court also rejected a police custody for him.

Raja Singh released a ten-minute video making derogatory comments about Prophet Muhammad. Bandi Sanjay, the Telangana BJP Chief alleged that Telangana Chief Minister KCR has been trying hard to trigger communal riots in the city. This is done to deviate the attention of his daughter Kavitha who is involved in the Delhi Excise Policy Case. The entire Old City is under the control of the cops and 144 section is imposed. All the fuel stations in the old city are asked to be shut. 31 protestors have been taken into the custody last night. Since the release, Raja Singh has been completely silent and never responded about the protests. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is closely monitoring the situation.
