Narendra Modi clarifies that there would be no Lockdown

Narendra Modi clarifies that there would be no Lockdown:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the Chief Ministers of the Indian states to review the situations of the second wave of coronavirus and the ongoing coronavirus vaccination drive. Narendra Modi during his speech and interaction clarified that there would be no lockdown in the country again. He said that India has better resources to battle and deal with coronavirus. He asked the states to focus more on the micro-containment zones before the spread turns intense. "After one year of battle against coronavirus, there would be tiredness in the system. We have to tighten it for 2-3 weeks which would be quite crucial for the country. Test, Track, Treat is the technique that should be implemented completely" told Narendra Modi.

"There is no chance of lockdown in the country again. We forgot testing and moved on to vaccination process. We have to remember that we won the battle without any vaccination last year. This time, we have to battle again. Increase the number of tests and the vaccinations all over. There is no scope to impose lockdown again" told Modi. States like Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujarat, Punjab, Tamil Nadu are in danger zone as the new cases have increased badly in the last two weeks. The daily tally of coronavirus cases reached 1.25 lakh mark today which is the highest in the recent times. Some of the states imposed weekend lockdown and special curbs to bring things to a control. Some of the states complained of low vaccination dose and urged the Centre to release the doses at the earliest.
