KCR Extends Lockdown Till May 31st Except For Some Relaxations:- Telangana Chief Minister KCR had a meeting with the state cabinet last evening and he met the press to announce about the key decisions made. He said that the state is now free except in the containment zones. The entire state is considered as green zone except for the containment region of Telangana. All the shops, private and government offices, industrial establishments, commercial spaces and businesses can be opened from today across the state except in the containment zones. The RTC buses too will be operated in the state from today. KCR also said that the lockdown is extended in the state till May 31st and the night curfew will be applicable from 7 PM to 6 AM.

Across the limits of Hyderabad, 50% of the shops will be opened from today. Taxis and autos will be allowed to operate from today in the state. Hyderabad Metro will not be open and the TSRTC will not operate in GHMC limits as of now. All the people have been asked to use face masks when they are in public and a fine of Rs 1000 will be imposed if the people step out without face masks. KCR urged the elders to stay indoors strictly. KCR also announced benefits for farmers in Telangana. All the bars, pubs, sports complexes, shopping malls, multiplexes, theatres, gyms, parks and swimming pools will remain shut in the state till the end of this month.
