Narendra Modi To Interact With All The Chief Ministers:- The lockdown in the country is extended till May 17th and the call on the extension will be taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The country is badly hit and is in a severe financial crunch. Narendra Modi will interact with the Chief Ministers of the country through video conference today at 3 PM. He will discuss about the restrictions and new guidelines to be imposed after May 17th. This would be the fifth interaction with the Chief Ministers after the lockdown is imposed. The number of coronavirus cases got doubled from the past one month. The total stands at 67,000 cases. As per the update, the restrictions would be lifted in some of the regions where the cases are low.
Modi is also in plans to extend the restrictions in red zones and containment regions. Some of the states allowed to restart the activities across major fields allowing limited staff to overcome the financial crisis. The wine marts brought enough boost for the states though social distancing got ignored. Modi's meeting would focus more on red zones and the measures to be taken. Modi would ask the Chief Ministers to take economic activities for the financial boost in various fields. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will hold a video conference with the banking sector officers to review the flow of credit through the banks.
