KCR's Strict Stand On TSRTC Merger:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) announced that over 48,000 TSRTC employees got sacked after they did not attend their duties going on strike after a series of meetings. The discussions did not bring Telangana government and TSRTC, JAC officials onto a common stand after which TSRTC decided to go on strike. KCR announced that all those who attend the strike would lose their jobs. With Dasara season and people struggling to reach their hometowns, the Telangana government had to depend on private travels to ensure that there would be no scarcity of buses in the state.

KCR once again clarified that there would be no merger of TSRTC in the Telangana government. He said that the corporation will have a major share in public transportation. To make it a profit-making organization, there is a need to bring in discipline in TSRTC said KCR. Principal Secretary (Transport) Sunil Sharma submitted a detailed report to KCR. The Chief Minister is quite furious about the strike and he reminded about the losses when the employees went on strike in crucial times in the past. KCR said that concessional bus passes issued to students, differently-abled, freedom fighters, journalists, family members of police martyrs and RTC employees will continue and they will not be cancelled.

KCR chaired a meeting during which he said that strict measures should be taken so that the public will not suffer due to such agitations in the coming future.
