KCR Issues a Clarification About Uranium Mining in Nallamala Forest:- The other day, Telangana IT Minister KTR clarified that Telangana Government did not grant any permission for uranium mining in Nallamala Forest region. Soon, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao issued a clarification on this in the state Assembly yesterday. With a lot of discussions going on across social media and several celebrities responding against the uranium mining, KCR responded to prevent further damage and to clear the confusion.

KCR said that no permission was issued till date and the government will never grant any permission for uranium mining in Telangana's Nallamala forest. KCR said that he would never allow the destruction of Nallamala forest. He said that the mining of uranium would contaminate Srisailam, Nagarjuna Sagar and Pulichintala water projects. A resolution has been passed today in Telangana Assembly about the same.
