KCR Pressmeet Highlights: Announces 105 Candidates:- Telangana Chief Minister KCR as predicted dissolved the Assembly today and got the approval from the Governor. KCR arranged a press meet to inform about the reasons and his future game plans. Here are the highlights of his speech:
Almost 99% of my promises have been fulfilled which are included in the manifesto. We kept all our promises.
Telangana witnessed 21.9% growth rate which is the best example of the development in the state.
Several officers, TRS leaders, MLAs and MPs worked round the clock to make this possible and I thank everyone for the support.
With nothing much to do, the opposition leaders and parties have been pointing TRS.
No single incident of communal violence has been registered after TRS came to power. Hyderabad which has been the care of address for violence hasn't witnessed any such incidents.
All the neighboring states have been looking towards Telangana. It is because of the discipline and stability of the government.
For the first time in the history, Telangana region witnessed 24 hours electricity and water all over.
With 8 months left, we are just sacrificing our positions and going for early elections.
As per my prediction, the elections may take place during November after the notification will be issued during October. The election results will be out during the first week of December.
105 sitting candidates have been offered tickets and all the leaders will meet me today evening.
The candidates for 14 constituencies will be finalized soon and will be announced.
Congress is the biggest villain for Telangana and I revealed this in 2001.
All the projects have been completed in time as promised because of the perfect planning.
TRS turned out to be a helping hand for farmers and lot of activities have been initiated which made farming easy and profitable.
Our election campaign will start in Husnabad from tomorrow and I will conduct 100 meetings in the next 50 days in Telangana.
We are ready to fight against all the evils and will make it to the power again.
There is no opposition party that will come closer to us in the next elections. We conducted several surveys after which we took a call.
