YS Jagan Refers People As His Only Asset : Nandyal By-Poll:- Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy addressing a roadshow in Nandyal village, Poluru told the people the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) will implement all its promises in a very transparent and effective manner as the people are my only asset.

Jagan stated that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has never fulfilled its election manifesto and its failures are revealed in the actions and speeches of chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. “Though a villain seems winning in the entire movie, it is actually the hero who defeats the villain and steals the heart of the audience at the end. The same will be seen in the ensuing elections in Nandyal and also in 2019,” YS Jagan said.

“Unlike Chandrababu Naidu, I do not have police force to crush the opposition nor money to shower on the corrupt and sweep away all scams under the carpet. My real assets are the people and I urge them to use their conscience when they caste their vote in the by-election,” he said.

Meanwhile, the people of Gaddipadu waylaid TDP minister Akhila Priya in the ninth ward of Nandyal municipality on Friday. In the area for the TDP, the minister and her brother Vikyat Reddy were campaigning, and that is when she was confronted by the people of the ward. They were questioned about the promises made in the earlier elections. They wanted her to explain about houses that the TDP promised during the elections. Following the incident, a red-faced  Akhila Priya and her followers made a hasty retreat from the ward.
