Though he did not take an active step into politics, he has been fighting for the people questioning the government. Pawan Kalyan announced that he and his party would contest in the upcoming 2019 elections. The actor has been quite focussed on Uddanam kidney victims problem and he met AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu today along with Harvard University professors. Pawan Kalyan got a positive nod from Chandra Babu and he interacted with the press today in Vijayawada. Here are the highlights of his speech:
I will be spending most of time for politics from October.
Every party has their own strength in Andhra Pradesh. I need to go into the people to know about my impact in AP in the upcoming elections.
I am not in a mood to compromise about the special status for Andhra Pradesh. I will fight for the special status. Will take it forward soon.
Will make an announcement on Nadhyal by-elections in couple of days.
I am completely focussed on the problems of the common man.
I supported TDP and BJP in the previous elections and we did not have any special agendas.
I am ready to question the government if the people are not satisfied.
Training classes are under progress and will be wrapped up in couple of months.
I am not in plans for secret agendas and I am here for the service of the people.
I brought to the notice of the Chief Minister about the Uddanam victims issue and Chandra Babu Naidu stepped out with a positive nod. Please do not make this political and I thank my team who has been working on the issue from the past few months.
I am not here to reveal about any figures or supporting any parties. However Janasena will be completely active from October.
