"A fire broke out in Delhi’s Sadar Bazaar market on Wednesday morning. Nine fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames", an official from the fire department said.

The cause of the fire is yet to be learned. There were reports of loss of life or property also. Fire tenders are currently making efforts to douse the raging flames. The situation is now said to be under control.

This comes days after a number of houses were burnt after a huge fire broke out in the slum areas near Sadar Bazar late on 7 November. Locals present there claimed that the fire was due to a cylinder blast.
