Lashkar Claims Responsibility For Uri Attack

According to the reports, banned terror organization Lashkar-E-Taiba has indirectly claimed the responsibility for the the attack on Indian Army base in Uri, in which 19 soldier lost their lives.

The media report published in a leading newspaper says that a poster has been published by the by the Jamaat-ud-dawa, the main organization behind the banned terror group, claims the LeT would be performing last rites of one of the Uri Attackers at Bada Nullah near Girjakh in Punjab’s Gurjanwala town.

By asking people to gather for ceremony the poster says, “lion-hearted holy warrior Abu Siraqa Muhammad Anas, who sent 177 Hindu soldiers to the hell at the Uri Brigade camp in Kashmir, and thus drank the glass of martyrdom.”

LeT Confirms Role Behind Uri Attack
However, the number of soldiers killed given in the poster seems to be fake as only 19 soldiers were killed in the attack. The poster has also features the photograph of LeT chief Hafiz Saeed, taking complete responsibility for the attack.

Although the investigative agencies, investigating the Uri Attack initially found that Jaish-E-Muhammad is behind the attack, after grabbing more proofs, it was found that Pakistan based LeT might also be the main culprit behind the attack on Army camp.
