In a shocking incident, a three-year-old girl was left alone in a locked car by her parents at Shamshabad on Wednesday.

Sources said "the parents had left the car to have breakfast at a restaurant while the kid was sleeping. When she woke up she found herself alone and started crying for help. The family was driving to Bengaluru."

“The child was sleeping. So they decided to leave her in the car. But the girl woke up and started crying,” said a local source.

A video showed a girl crying inside a car, Then crowd gather and try to break the windows. One of them even tried to guide the girl to open the door from inside. But the girl continued to cry.

The public then alerted the cops who tried to find the girl’s parents. Finally a man forced the car’s door open with a crowbar. The parents then came back only to find a furious crowd.

The video showed the parents explaining cops that they left the child alone in the car as they did not want to wake her up. They also said the car had enough ventilation. Police said the couple were allowed to go after a warning. Officials said the child was fine.
