Young girl kills herself in Vijayawada over sexual harassment:- The city of Vijayawada was left in shock after the news broke out that a young girl committed suicide after sexual harassment by a TDP leader Vinod Jain. After the news broke out, the party suspended him from TDP. The girl jumped from the fifth floor of the building and she was studying class ninth. The girl left a suicide note which had the name of Vinod Jain over sexual harassment. The cops booked a case against Vinod Jain under various sections and he was taken into custody. The girl could not reveal this to their parents and was struggling from the past few months. The girl committed suicide on Saturday night. West Zone ACP K Hanumantha Rao told the news to the media.

AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy responded swiftly about the incident and he ordered the cops to complete the probe in the issue at the earliest. Vinod Jain aged 53 years is a TDP member for the 37th ward and he faced several defeats in the politics in the past few years. The cops are investigating Vinod Jain and he will be produced in the court very soon. Vinod Jain was arrested from the basement of the apartment complex. The victim's grandfather told that the girl was moody from the past couple of days. She hugged her mother before committing suicide on the terrace. The suicide note was found in the girl's bedroom and her identity was not revealed to the media and the public.

AP State Women's Commission chairman Vasireddy Padma responded to the incident and she called it unfortunate. She said that the YSRCP government has taken the incident seriously and the culprit will be punished very soon.
