In a tragic incident, a Class V student died after his neck got caught in the rope of a swing on which he was playing at his home on Monday in Adilabad district.

According to the police, the parents of Rushi (10) were not at their home when thid incident took place. His mother Manjula is the local mandal praja parishad territorial committee member.

The boy’s parents were busy enforcing the bandh opposing the merger of Dandepalli in the newly proposed Nirmal district.

By the time Rushi’s parents got to know, it was too late. The parents rushed back on being informed of the incident. Later Rushi’s body was sent for post moterm.
