The CPI (M) is commencing four-day padayatra from Erravalli in Kondapaka mandal of Medak district, demanding justice for land oustees of Mallannasagar.
The padayatra will start from today to put more pressure on government. Party State secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram and revolutionary singer Vimalakka are expected to participate in the programme.
As a kick start to the yatra, the posters were released in all villages by land oustees and CPI(M) activists.
The 4-day padayatra would commence at Erravalli and end at Etigaddakishtapur on July 4, covering all villages expected to get submerged in the construction of the reservoir.
