AP assembly meetings have started just a while and as expected, the YSRCP leaders are protesting against the government, regarding the call money issue.
High rates of interest is not just the key problem of the call money scam. Along with that, even though, sometimes, the people got ready to pay money to the lenders, with no option left, the lenders used to reject that money, with the intention of harassing their ladies in the house, sexually.
How does call money benefit the politicians?
Knowing the benefits of the call money, a few of the politicians, used to invest with the organizers and get the returns, with the huge rates of interest. The organizers used to collect higher rates of interest from the public, than they paid to the politicians, and thus both politicians and the lenders are benefited in the call money scam, making the innocent public’s life dark.
Moreover, the bonds and the promissory notes are not related to the amount they lend to the public. If the amount they give is Rs. 1 lakh, the bond and the promissory notes used to value up to Rs. 50 lakhs. This worried the public and left with no option, they used to pay the interests, timely.
Most of the people, involved in the call money scam, are real estate business holders. On one side, they are able to collect huge interests from the public and the other side, they are developing their business, with such interest money.
Most of the lenders are supported by the politicians of Andhra Pradesh state. While, YSRCP has been cornering TDP officials on the issue, TDP has been countering back saying that, most of the lenders, caught by the police are backed by YSRCP leaders itself.
The same argument took place in AP assembly, among the duo party leaders and finally, the assembly was postponed for 10 minutes and re-started again. But the situation has not changed even after re-starting the assembly. On the other side, the government stuck to their words saying that, they would discuss on the call money issue, tomorrow.
