Why Naidu is silent on Jaitley’s comments - Jagan

YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy busted on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, for allegedly maintaining the mum on Union Minister Arun Jaitley comments about the special status.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said, “After the 14th finance commission came into the existence, there would be no question of the special status again. Speaking about the poll prospects for the Centre, Jaitley said that the Centre has granted Rs 1.65 lakh crore package to Bihar.

“As the tax sharing has been increased to the states, special status will not required by any state and so government is not going to allot special status to any state in the country,” Jaitley strictly said.

What about Modi’s promise in Amaravati ceremony?

At a time, where the special status issue has become so viral in Andhra Pradesh, by conducting various protests, fast, strikes, against the government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who visited Andhra Pradesh for Amaravati stone laying ceremony, assured that, all the proposals in the AP reorganization act, would be implemented in the future, thus hinting the special status.

That statement from Modi, has given a positive vibration to the AP people. But now, Arun Jaitley’s comments has ruined all those hopes.

Jagan immediately made a tweet on the issue. His tweet read, “BJP government gave in written in the Lok Sabha that, special status would continue for North Eastern States to a question raised by our MP Y V Subba Reddy. Even then Naidu could not exert the pressure on the BJP government at Centre, when Jaitley was making such comments.”

Jagan’s new plan to fight for the special status!

It is known that, Jagan is very keen about the special status issue and he is the one, who seems continuously showing his version of efforts for the special status. Recently, he even conducted an indefinite fast continuously for seven days. However it is obstructed allegedly by the AP government officials.

It was then, Jagan and his party leaders said that, they would come with a new protest plan against the governments. So the political analysts say that, this might be the right time, Jagan seems considering to fight against the Centre for the special status.
