YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy visited Amaravati yesterday, after knowing that a sugarcane crop was destroyed in a fire and he busted on AP government for it.
It is known that, Jagan stayed away from Amaravati stone laying ceremony for various reasons. But yesterday, in Malkpuram village, when a farmer’s sugarcane crop was destroyed in fire, by some unknown people, Jagan immediately rushed to the place and started his style of allegations.
He alleged that, as a few of the farmers refused to give the lands to the government under the land pooling, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu burnt the sugarcane crop.
Jagan burnt sugarcane crop - Prathipati
Responding to the issue, TDP minister Prathipati Pulla Rao said, upon the inquiry we found that, it is Jagan and his party people, who burnt the sugarcane crop. They destroyed the entire five acres of land. He assured that, a detailed inquiry will be conducted and reveal the details to the public soon.
Author’s view:
If Jagan is really concerned about the special status and the future of Andhra Pradesh, why did he not attend Amaravati ceremony and question Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the stage itself. If he had done so, Modi might have been cornered and would have given any clarity on the issue. When he could dare to declare war against the Centre, why cannot he do that in PM’s presence?
If he would have done that, then his image in the public would have risen further. But just staying away from Amaravati ceremony, would literally mean expressing his immature behavior, that too being a public representative.
There is no valid evidence to allege a person, who set fire to the sugarcane crop. But Jagan alleges the government, with no proper proof, and coming forward to Amaravati, just to corner the government. This is further dipping his political career. All of his political activities and allegations are considered as baseless and, it seems, people and the government is least concerned about them.
