Rogue Pakistan violates ceasefire agreement again

Pakistan a non-trustworthy neighbour and a place of breeding terrorists, does not have any regards to the words said. Pakistan is a failed state which is controlled by the whims of Army, ISI and civilian government. They keep alive the cottage industry of terrorism for exhorting financial aids in the name of the fight against terrorism. The country does not care about the development and the welfare of the citizens, instead groom terrorists to wage proxy war.

"Heavy firing exchanges between the BSF (Border Security Force) and Pakistan Rangers have been taking place since early morning," a police officer said.

"We are disappointed at the developments which have taken place this morning. There was a major ceasefire violation committed by Pakistani forces in Akhnoor sector, which led to casualties in India. I spoke to the (Pak) foreign secretary this morning and again in the afternoon. The ceasefire violation has led to the death of a civilian woman in Akhnoor," Indian High Commissioner TCA Raghavan had said.

There has been a spurt in incidents of ceasefire violations and infiltration attempts from Pakistan side, due to the growing desperation among Rangers to push in armed terrorists to the Indian side, when Amarnath Yatra has been going on smoothly without any untoward incident. More than two lakh pilgrims have so far had Darshan at Amarnath shrine in South Kashmir Himalayas.

India has registered its strong protest with the Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit, after the killing of a civilian near the International Border in Jammu. A woman has been killed and another six, including two soldiers, were injured in heavy firing from across the border in Akhnoor sector, in the seventh ceasefire violation this month.

Pakistan has summoned the Indian envoy stating that it had shot down an Indian "spy" drone, a claim that has been denied by New Delhi. Indian government sources called it a "strange coincidence that Pakistan claimed it shot down an Indian drone soon after the violation."

Islamabad alleged that India had sent the drone for aerial photography near the Line of Control and it was shot down in the Bhimber area of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, for "violation of Pakistan's territorial integrity." The Indian military has denied Pakistan's claims. "Some reports of a drone crash in POK (Pakistan Occupied Kashmir) are being referred to. No drone or UAV crash of the Indian Army has taken place," the defense ministry said in a statement.

Pakistan, this time started violating the ceasefire agreementĀ  after Indian and Pakistani prime ministers issued a joint statement pledging themselves to building peace between the two countries. This is an usual way of the Pakistan army to scuttle the civilian efforts to maintain peace between the two neighbor countries. The Pakistan army, which is incapable to fight from the forefronts uses terrorists to inflict injuries in the bilateral relationship.
