It is known that Matthaiah case hearing in the high court would be today. The judgment had become very crucial in the political circles.
Reacting to the issue, the court postponed the case to the afternoon in the morning session. Later in the afternoon, the court released a statement, postponing the case until tomorrow.
On the other side, Stephenson, Telangana nominated MLA, filed a quash petition on Matthaiah stating to cancel the petition filed by the latter. Stephenson said that, Matthaiah was the first person to involve in cash for vote scam and, thus made a plea to cancel the petition. Reacting to Stephenson’s petition, the court had postponed the case until tomorrow, along with Matthaiah’s case.
Stephenson urged the judge to rescue from the case, given the sequence of developments with regards to the hearing in the quash petition of the absconding accused Mathaiah on June 18.
Matthaiah, one of the alleged, in the famous cash for vote scam, was out into media after several attempts he made to escape were failed. Many of the intellectuals felt that, putting him behind the bars would be an immediate action.
But to the shock of all such critics, Matthaiah, who applied for the high court to grant him the bail, was accepted by the court. After the scrutiny, the court ordered the officials not to arrest Matthaiah till 24th of this month. But even that 24th could not be a day that can decide Matthaiah’s fate.
So, finally 25th is going to be the day, to hear something interesting about Matthaiah. Interesting because, the quash petition of Stephenson is hunting him this time.
So, tomorrow, i.e., this Thursday would be the platform to showcase the utmost significance in the cash for vote scam. So let us watch, what the day has hidden for Matthaiah.
