On Friday, the ACB court has sentenced four days ACB custody to TDP MLA Revanth Reddy, who was arrested in the ‘vote for note’ scam.
The four day ACB custody for Revanth Reddy will begin from Saturday and Reddy would be available from 9 AM to 4 PM for the interrogation. Along with Revanth Reddy, the other accused, Sebastian and Uday Sinha were also remanded to ACB custody. The ACB sought for five days, but the court had agreed to give a four day custody.
No third degree -Court orders ACB
The court has further ordered that, the three accused should be questioned in the presence of their counsel and no such third degree methods should be applied on Revanth and the other accused.
On the other hand, the bail petition of Revanth Reddy has been postponed to June 8th. The minister had applied for bail to carry on the works relating to his daughter’s marriage, which is scheduled to happen on June 11th. It seems like the court is unwilling to grant the bail, as the case is still in the starting stage.
