The responsibility of the quality in the repairing works under Mission Kakatiya completely goes to the Engineers involved in it. The works should not be stopped for the arrival of Quality control engineers, for paying the running bills, quality certificate is not necessary, the Telangana minister Harish Rao said.
He further said, only the last bill requires the quality certificate, but the rest can be carried on without it. On Tuesday, from the Secretariat itself, the minister observed all the works of Mission Kakatiya through the video conference.
Till date, 7571 ponds were given the permission to start the works and already at 3652 ponds, the proper works were started, the minister said. Chief Engineer Rama Krishna Rao explained to the minister that almost 74,83,581 cubic meters of mud was taken away by the farmers.
Finally Harish Rao said, due to the unseasonal rains, all the precautions should be taken before and use that water to store for the future use and allied activities regarding it are to be recognized and to be carried forward very soon.
Few of the officials said that it is getting difficult to coordinate the areas which are far away from the places and then minster said to use the rented vehicles for it.
Mission Kakatiya is considered as one of the most prestigious project of Telangana state. After its completion, it will be beneficial to lakhs of people in the state.
