In a bizarre statement, RJD president and former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad has favoured the open-book system and said had it been his government it would have allowed examinees to write answers from books. Already Bihar is in the news internationally for all the wrong reasons due to the unscrupulous politicians. The whole world has watched the way in which the exams are conducted in Bihar. Already the employment ability of people of Bihar has damaged due to the visuals of exam cheating which was viral in the net. The politicians like Lalu and Nithish have damaged the dignity and reputation of the youngsters by announcing such bizarre statement which will not help these students but damage their future.
"Had it been my government we would have given books to examinees to write. Only those who have read could write answers from books and for those who have not exam duration of three hours would end and they would still be searching for answers," Prasad said addressing a function after inaugurating a new school in Buxar district. "Open book system in examination is prevalent in prominent universities in America and elsewhere in the world. It has the logic that only student who has read the book could trace the answer."
While Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is trying to highlight glory of the state through function on the occasion of 'Bihar Divas', visuals of cheating in examination has piled shame on the state from across the world.
