Jairam Ramesh makes controversial comments

Former Union minister and Congress leader Jairam Ramesh had made controversial comments on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking ordinance route to implement several laws. Jairam Ramesh described 'NAMO' as 'No Action Message Only' and 'MODI' as 'Murder of Democratic India.'

“The Country is trapped in 'NAMO' culture which means 'No Action Message Only' since the BJP came into power. Since six months there is no progress in the country and Modi just talking all these day,” slammed Jairam Ramesh.

PM Modi at a workshop on 'Make in India' said, the government earlier used work like 'ABCD' that stands for 'Avoid, Bypass, Confused, Delay' and suggested that it should work like 'ROAD' 'Responsibility, Ownership, Accountability, Discipline.' We are committed to implemented 'ROAD.'

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee joined the chorus and criticised the BJP government. She termed the Land Acquisition Ordinance as 'Black Ordinance' and said Modi government is worse than Emergency. “The NDA government will snatch the common man's land at gun point and I will not let this happen in my state [West Bengal]. If they [Union government] want to do this, they have to do it on my dead body,” dared Mamata.
