The United States President Barack Obama may be visiting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's constituency Varanasi, during his second official tour to India next month. According to the sources, Obama could visit Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi for an interactive session with the students of the university. However, the US security agencies has not confirmed Obama's schedule in India.
If time permits, Obama could also visit any one of the Indian Institute of Technology [IIT] but the campus is yet to be decided. The US President will be visiting India's heritage monument Taj Mahal and this is confirmed in his schedule. But still there is no clarity about the duration of Obama's tour to India.
Earlier this month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited Obama as the chief guest for the Republic Day celebrations next year and the US President has accepted the request. The threat of terror could be high during Obama's visit. This is for the first time that a US President is touring India for the second time while being in the President's office.
