According to the Election Commission, Pritam Munde contested for Beed Lok Sabha constituency and received a total of 9,16,923 votes while her rival, Ashokrao Shankarrao Patil of the Congress party, got 2,24,678 votes which means the margin is 6,92,245 votes. This is a new record and Pritam broke the record of Left leader Anil Basu's margin of 5,92,502 votes from Arambagh. Even she crossed Prime Minister Narendra Modi who contested from Vadodara this May.
