812 government employees who are working in Telangana on Monday requested the T-government to transfer them to Andhra Pradesh. This decision of employees shocked the government and the reason for it, is being the increase of age limit to retire in Andhra Pradesh from 58 to 60 years.
All the 812 employees are retiring in the month of July and all of them have submitted request letters to the heads of various department to transfer them from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh. Telangana Chief Secretary Rajeev Sharma was reported about this request of transfer and the T-government is heard to be in favor of moving them. Interestingly 20 percent of Telangana employees from merit quota are also willing to transfer to Andhra Pradesh.
Further, Telangana CS Mr Sharma will report this to the Kamal Nath committee on Monday. However, the committee has no authority over the employees who are placed in Telangana under the Merit quota. Telangana government has to take a decision.
What if the Telangana government also increases the age limit ?
