Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said Congress party has stuck to its words and fulfilled the promise of separate Telangana at Bhongir election campaign. This is Manmohan's first visit in Telangana region after bifurcation and congratulated people.

“Very soon, Telangana will form as a new state and Sonia Gandhi has implemented her promise. Now Telangana should look forward at development and only through Congress party it is possible. Both the states were given a proper packages. At the center and in state Congress should come into power. In the past decade many reforms and revolutionary schemes were introduced,” said Manmohan. He promised to increase the brand image of Hyderabad in coming years.

Criticizing BJP, Manmohan added that BJP is relying on one man and he alone can't lead the nation. “It has an inside agenda and it is harmful for the country,” said the PM.

However, it was pale speech by Manmohan Singh who was expected to hit back at opposition. He did not mention anything about the regional parties in Andhra Pradesh the likes of TRS , TDP and YSRCP. Manmohan focused more about Congress and its progress in the past decade.
