Congress candidate from Saharanpur, Imran Masood had made controversial remarks against Bharatiya Janata Party Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. Masood threaten to kill Modi at a gathering with the muslim community people.

“Gujarat has 4 percent of muslims where as Uttar Pradesh has 22 percent, if Modi tries to change UP like Gujarat then I will chop off him into pieces,” said Masood. The video was posted in the net and went viral in minutes.

The Election Commission [EC] is heard to be serious on these controversial remarks and has asked for the video footage of it from the local police. If Masood is found guilty, then he might be denied contesting from the elections as per the norms.

Meanwhile Congress leader Raj Babbar has objected these statements and said they are unacceptable.
