Supreme Court strikes off pleas against Telangana

The Supreme Court has declined to involve itself in the Andhra Pradesh bifurcation issue. Over  seven petitions that were filed against the creation of Telangana went for hearing today. Justice HL Dattu and bench heard the pleas and later the petitions were scrapped off. The Apex court said, at present scenario the court cannot intervene in the bifurcation issue and there is no difference between the previous and present PILs.

TDP MLA Payyavula Keshav who filed a petition against the division expressed his displeasure over Supreme's decision. All in all the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh seems inevitable!
