APNGO's has been playing a key role in keeping the state united. Over a period of time, it sidelined all the political parties and gained the confidence of the Seemandhra public. APNGO's president Ashok Babu was the one who brought the hope without any support and emerged as HERO for united Andhra Pradesh. But gradually, the role of APNGO's is getting faded away as the internal politics is troubling it a lot.
Adding fuel to the fire, the election bells have hit the APNGO's and non-supporters of Ashok Babu group are gearing up to contest in the elections. SA Bashir who is contesting for the APNGO's president post this time has accused Ashok Babu for letting down the movement of united AP. He said he would establish a political JAC as the Telangana JAC and will strive to keep the state united.
However, Ashok Babu group slammed Bashir's comments and claimed that a political party is behind Bashir and they are the sole reason for bringing differences in NGO's. “We will win the NGO elections as we have the majority support and after winning the elections, we will take the united agitations to another level,” said a key leader from Ashok Babu group.
