GMR group has donated Rs 2.50 crores to the cyclone victims of Visakhapatnam to the chief minister's relief fund. The representatives of GMR met AP CM Chandrababu Naidu in the afternoon and handed over the cheque. The AP CM has appreciated the donation and also asked GMR to forward for the development of AP state.

On the other hand, APNGOs donated Rs 125 crores while the relief operations are going on. So far 70 per cent of power supply has been restored and officials are doing all the efforts to make it 100 per cent. Also there are no complaints of petrol and diesel shortage and everything is coming to normalcy.
