The AICC Chairman and AP and Karnataka States Affairs in charge for Congress Party Digvijay Singh found fault with the Telugu Desam Party's remarks on the Group of Ministers appointed to review the problems involved in the State bifurcation.
Digvijay Singh says that TDP commented when Antony Committee is appointed calling it as a party’s committee. Now working of GoM cannot be objected, says Digvijay, as it is consisting of Ministers of the Government but not party leaders. He said that the Congress party also gives its report to GoM like other parties. He said that the Congress party assumes responsibility to narrow down the gulf between Telangana and Seemandhra people.
Union Home Ministry has earlier asked 8 political parties of the State to give their opinion on the bifurcation on or before 5th November. Now the dates also are fixed for the all party meeting. All party meeting will be held on 12th November and the representatives of the parties will meet the GoM on 13th.
