Modi's Reproach To PM's Speech

Modi says that Manmohan Singh's speech from Red Fort yesterday was not at all inspiring.

Narendra Modi who has been emerging slowly as a National figure particularly because of the Bharatiya Janata Party's trust in him that he will get the reigns of Central Government as its Prime Minister Candidate.  Although it is not yet announced as to his candidature, the party already entrusted him to steer the advance election campaigns.

Manmohan Singh talked about the country's development in the past 5 decades.  Modi challenges that the progress in the country may be compared with that of the State of Gujarat and it will be clear what is to be called as development.

Modi said that Red Fort is not the place to send warnings to Pakistan for their acts of picking up border fights but the Indian defense can be encouraged and assured them of taking diplomatic steps or otherwise to curb such provocations and violence.  Modi said that his words might have already reached Pakistan although he is talking from Bhuj.

Modi finds fault with the part of the speech of Manmohan Singh in which the members of the Nehru family were remembered as great leaders of the country ignoring the services of the great leaders like Lal Bahadur Sashtry and Vallabh Bhai Patel.

He criticized that the country has got independence but the thoughts are still of slavery.  He also criticized the congress party leaders who were busy fighting with him on the social network on the Independence day in place of which they could sing National Anthem at least.
