With a price tag of Rs5 lakhs on his head, Maoist party leader Dasaram Srinivas was caught and arrested by the police yesterday. He was visiting Hyderabad looking for treatment for a long standing illness.

According to reports, police has precise information of his whereabouts, which led to his arrest. He is currently in the police custody. Srinivas was until now living a secret life for many years. He had began his illegal activities very early when he was still studying in a degree college in Hyderabad.

The Government has demanded that the Maoist leader Srinivas and his wife to be presented before the court.
