Telangana Congress leaders met today at Exhibition Grounds.  They come to an understanding on two things.  Number one, a public meeting is to be held at Nizam College grounds on 30th June.  Second one which is a difficult one for them, AICC President should be asked to take a decision on Telangana at the earliest.  

Apart from the above two decisions taken unanimously, the leaders also expressed their views as below:-

The Deputy Chief Minister Damodara Raja Narasimha said that the party high command should be intimated that it is not possible to contest in the coming elections if a favorable decision is not taken towards the formation of Telangana State.  Chief Whip Gandra Venkata Ramana said that if the situation continues like this, it will be difficult to go to the people in the elections and it was seconded by Minister Ponnala who also said that it will not be possible to go to the people if no firm decision is taken onTelangana.  

Minister Gita Reddy says that let the leaders go to the people saying that the Telangana issue is in the last stages and the party will honor the sentiment of Telangana people.  Jeevan Reddy said that only way is to resign from the Ministries to make the people believe them (T Congress leaders).  Madhu Yashkee Gowd was in the opinion that the decision has to be taken only by Sonia Gandhi and as such Telangana issue has to be solved through her.  

The dilemma of the T Congress leaders hasn’t come to an end with the meeting as the discussions show.  Although a meeting is conducted, the point is always coming back to Sonia Gandhi's decision only.
