TRS president KCR is focusing on Medak as the recent incidents show.  KCR suspended former Medak District President and a senior leader of TRS party Raghunandana Rao.  

KCR called for the Bundh in Medak District some time back to protest Chief Minister Kiran Kumar's remarks on Bayyaram mines when he was touring Medak District.  Now suspending a senior and strong leader of Medak who has been working for the party is not accepted by other leaders in the party.  They say that it will weaken the party if seniors are allowed to leave the party in an unceremonious way.

Raghunandana Rao has been revealing his dissatisfaction for some time for ignoring him and giving good positions to others in the party.  Above all the MLC ticket at Karimnagar was given to Employees union leader Swami Gowd keeping Raghunandana Rao aside and it drove him mad.

As the news of Raghunandana Rao’s attempts to join other parties reached KCR, he suspended Raghunandana Rao from TRS.
