After a couple of days of moderate rush, the number of devotees visiting Tirumala increased on Sunday. Heavy rush was reported this morning. It was taking as much as 17 hours time to seek the blessings of Sri Venkateshwara Swamy through sarva darshanam (free darshan). For Rs. 300 pratyeka pravesha darshanam (special entry) it's taking around five hours.
Those who reach Tirumala hills by foot it's taking four hours to have a glimp of the Lord through divya darshanam. Over 67,000 visited sanctum sanctorum on Saturday. It may be noted that rush at Tirumala will be more on Saturday and Sunday given that locals and nearby people visit the temple.
