Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao has appealed to Congress leaders from the state to abide by the high command and respect the decision of taken by the high command on Telangana statehood issue. Recalling the demand for Telangana state ever since 1972, V Hanumantha Rao said that after 1972 many developments were witnessed in many states and stressed on the number of people who committed suicides for Telangana cause.
VH has also asked leaders not to throw obstacles in the formation of Telangana state. YSR and other Rayalaseema leaders brought the issue of Telangana before the high command, added Hanumantha Rao. Also, he said only to damage Chandrababu Naidu's political future, YSR then brought Telangana issue into the scene. It may be noted that there has been so much heat on Telangana issue as deadline date by the centre to announce its decision on the issue is round the corner.
