CPI state secretary Narayana has said that he was expecting a positive statement on Telangana soon. He hoped that the centre would give a clear statement on Telangana state formation this 28th in the wake of the assurance given by the home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. Further, he said CPI would not accept Telangana state without Hyderabad as the capital. Also, he said his party would stage a massive protest on January 18 to press the demand for separate state of Telangana.

Speaking about the dissatisfaction from other region people, Narayana has said that when a state is bifurcated, one region people would obviously get disappointed and Congress should solve that problem. Meanwhile, our sources said that Congress high command reportedly issued a whip to its members directing its leaders not to talk anything on Telangana issue.
