Child labor is another menace that is haunting the society, depriving the young ones of their childhood is also a heinous crime. In a drive to control this menace, few NGOs working in this area conducted sudden raids on shops and establishments in the Uppal region and on the highway.

They freed children who were working in some places. Few children begging for alms on the highway were also gathered. In all, a total of thirty of them were handed over to the Uppal Police station. The government is sanctioning so much funds for the empowerment of downtrodden children. Yet parents are not availing such schemes and look for short term goals.

In a way controlling child labor has multiple utilities. Apart from making them enjoy their childhood with education and no fear, like their affluent counterparts, their future would also be secured. In turn this also helps the nation with a better society tomorrow.

Most these vagabond  deprived of basic amenities grow to hate the society which in turn is sure to affect in many ways. (Wishesh AarKay)
