The Cyberabad police is reportedly going to arrest the former minister Shankar Rao at any time. The sources said that the police made all arrangements to take him into custody in connection with Green Field lands' case. With High Court yesterday lifting the stay (by lower court) on the arrest warrant, police will arrest him. In fact, this morning itself the police went to his residence in Ram Nagar. However, he was not available. Therefore, cops reportedly enquired the family members of Shankar Rao and left that place. According to the sources, fearing the arrest, Shankar Rao went absconding without apparently not informing his gunman and personal assistant.
