The Telangana Joint Action Committee chairman Prof Kodandaram has said that Telangana march would be held on September 30 as proposed earlier. He has also alleged that efforts were being made to suppress the Telangana movement by the governments. Further, he demanded the government to immediately stop the arrest of the Telangana leaders. Meanwhile, a few leaders from TJAC headed by Kodandaram met the DGP and sought permission for Sagaraharam (the Telangana march). The DGP, however, reportedly said that it would not be possible to give permission for the march keeping in view the immersion of Ganesh idols, which is scheduled to take place on September 29.
