The Telangana Joint Action Committee chairman Prof Kodandaram has said that Telangana March, which is scheduled to take place on September 30-in support of statehood for Telangana-would meet the aspirations of four crore people of the region. He has also said that arrangements and publicity are in full swing to make the march a mega success.

Kodandaram has said that until 30, they would move each and every remote area in Telangana and take the march into the public with a slogan 'intiko manishi...chethiko jenda' (meaning one person from family and one flag for each hand). He even mentioned that by September 30, each and every person would come to Hyderabad to take part in the march. Further, he said in case Centre declares the formation of Telangana state, people who would gather for Telangana March, would not apparently take out march, but would celebrate. To make a point Kodandaram has said that people in Telangana region were peace lovers and they want state to achieve through peaceful approach. Also, he said Telangana movement was justifiable.
