Junior doctors call off strike!

The second round of talks of government with agitating junior doctors have turned fruitful. The Junior Doctors' Association (JUDA) representatives have told the media that the five-hour-long talks held with the government were successful as the government nodded to agree their demands. They have said that the government nodded to release as much as Rs. 1350 crore for better medical facilities in the rural areas.

The association members even mentioned that they told the government about their salaries and stressed that Rs. 20,000 would not be sufficient for them as per the GO number 40. They even stated the government agreed to carry out medical counseling with full transparency. The government said it would release a new GO with the agreed demands within a week, added junior doctors. Now that the talks have been successful, lets wish that doctors no more go on strike and put patients' health at toll as life once lost cannot be brought back.
