TRS chief K Chandra Shekhar Rao is scheduled to leave for Delhi on September 5. The sources said that KCR is likely to stay in Delhi for about a week. KCR's sudden Delhi tour has trigerred wide range discussions on the much pending Telangana issue. As of now, there's buzz that during his week long stay in the national capital territory, KCR would meet several big wigs of Congress. Also, the sources said he would tell the Congress that agitation for Telangana state would be intensified in case Congress doesn't come out with a clear cut stand on the issue.

One of the leading vernacular dailies today reported that a leader of TRS told there was reliable information on the formation of Telangana state and therefore the meeting in August were deferred. The daily even reported that the leader stressed that a statement on formation of Telangana state would be announced before September 17.  Now that TDP too reportedly decided to give a letter in favour of formation of Telangana state, there's no other alternative to the Congress party except to declare the formation of the state, said observers.
