The Tirupati police who have busted a kidnapping racket have produced the accused before the media. The police said that three children were allegedly abducted in the past 16 months in Tirupati. The kidnapped children were sold to childless couples. The police, who got the details of those who purchased kids in the enquiry, have rescued the children and arrested the adopters. The police said the three children were in their custody and they would be handed over to the parents if they come forward. They, however, said DNA tests would be conducted before children would be handed over to the parents. The gang has said that one kid was abducted at Vishnu Nivasam while the two others were kidnapped from Govindaraju Swamy temple.
